About the event
Join us at the Agriculture Ministry Building, 3830 Thatcher Avenue in Saskatoon SK in board room # 149 on Saturday February 28th for our 2026 AGM and education day. This event will be hybrid, so there is still the opportunity to watch and participate virtually if you are unable to make it in person. However, we would love to have you join us in person! Lunch and refreshments will be provided for those attending in-person. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when RSVPing for the in-person event. Please see the proposed agenda above. The morning will start with some coffee and snacks and we will move onto the education around 8:30 am. Our first education presentation will be on goat abortion diseases presented by Dr. Madison Ricard, following that Dr. Dinesh Dadarwal will present on kidding management and dystocia. Following lunch we will have a discussion period on the upcoming CFIA livestock traceability regulations with Ed Harrison from the CFIA to answer your questions, listen to feedback and offer clarity on the regulations where there may have been misinformation or confusion (we ask you to please keep this respectful and constructive, he is there to help). Following the education we will hold our annual general meeting. This event will be a great opportunity to learn and network! We hope to see you there.
