Guest speaker bio:

Tanya Vickers became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 1995 and became a CGS member shortly after, registering her first goat in 2000. She started her goat journey with Nubians, and now has Nigerian Dwarfs. Over the last 25 years she has participated in every CGS program available, and has been involved as a show chairman and CGS licensed judge too. During her career, she has worked to advance the care goats receive, primarily in areas of pain management and best practices for disbudding and castration, along with herd health and disease prevention. She is excited that in the last several years a greater number of goat breeders are becoming more aware, and are choosing better health and welfare practices.

Join us Sunday April 6, 2025 to learn from one of the best and gain knowledge on 3 important goat diseases!
