Training covering on-farm biosecurity, and various aspects of animal welfare/goat husbandry. Completing this training allows producers to become eligible for the Sustainable CAP funding through the Sask. Agriculture ministry.

About the event
We are again offering the Saskatchewan Goat Industry Biosecurity and Animal Welfare training program for 2024-25
This will allow producers to apply for funding through the Sustainable CAP funding program through the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.
Training sessions usually take place on evenings or weekends online over zoom, split into 2 sessions about 2 hours each. If there is enough interest, an in-person training session could be organized.
